Additional Considerations

  • On an existing slab a mock up may be helpful in determining the processes needed to obtain your desired outcome.
  • Corners and edges may not be able to be polished to the same standard as the field as they are done by hand. Hand edging is also expensive. If possible polishing work should be completed prior to interior wall (or at a minimum trim) installation in order to minimize/eliminate hand edging. Some people opt to use a solid color border with a urethane or epoxy instead of polishing to the edge or as an accent.
