Wood / Laminate Floors
for Senior Living
Engineered wood and high-quality laminate are more resistant to scratches, dents, and moisture compared to traditional hardwood. These materials are also easier to maintain and can offer the look of real wood with enhanced durability. It also provides a warm homey feel in independent living residences. Traditional wood offers more versatility via stains and wood types, but it should be kept away from any areas that may be exposed to moisture.
- Establish a routine maintenance and cleaning schedule to keep the floors in top condition. Use cleaning products specifically designed for wood or laminate flooring to avoid damage.
